Barack Obama and Al Gore Opt for Organic Wine

Barack Obama and Al Gore , by the Alliance for Climate Protection have the key to the future of organic products . so it, for the preservation of a more sustainable planet and better sald of the population. I highlight some sentences of a statement from Al Gore.

"Our nation made history . We have a historic opportunity to boost our economy and to provide the country a hundred percent energy saving in ten years. Consume organic products help contribute to this cause especially if it is wine.

Choose products. As far as possible , opt for food from organic farming : cereals, coffee , honey, sugar , fruits, vegetables , oil , wine, vegetables , pasta ... are free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, which yields more fields healthier and cleaner water . Try to buy fish caught sustainably and gradually it will certify health of the oceans. Eat meat and eggs from organic origin , in which the animals were artificially fattened on farms and live as comfortably as possible . "

RED WINE , AND GOOD HEALTH TANINOS

The concern for a healthier diet and a healthier life style is also concern wine culture . Today we know that the tannins of red wines , - when a moderate consumption helps keep our arteries cleaner helps prevent cardiovascular disease is practiced. Recent studies have also shown that resveratrol , a substance found in the skin of red grapes , may help slow aging and prevent age-related diseases like Alzheimer's.

Several scientific studies have shown that people in countries who follow the Mediterranean diet and therefore consume wine in moderate amounts have a lower risk of cardiovascular disease . This led to the scientific community to study this subject in depth , comparing data from different European countries with amazing results in many cases , contradictory . Such was the case in France. It was ironic that the French would show high levels of cholesterol, ( due to consumption of butter, cream and cheese ) and , however , present a low mortality from heart problems. This fact was called " French paradox " . Later, it was observed that the French , unlike the inhabitants of the Nordic countries taking meals in a glass of red wine.

A study about benefits of Ecologic wine by the University of Burgundy and the Institute of Organic Agriculture in Switzerland.

A study at the University of Burgundy and the Institute of Organic Agriculture in Switzerland shows that wine - producing pesticide-free organic - containing double the amount of resveratrol ( molecule present in grapes and wine and which are attributed anticancer and antioxidant ) than not subjected to these practices.

I remember an interview with Juan Carlos Sancha ensuring that resveratrol - molecule present in grapes and wine and attributed to anti-cancer and antioxidant properties , is a defense mechanism of the plant.
According to that study, organic red and white wine contains 12 milligrams of resveratrol per liter compared to 6 of a wine, whose grapes have been treated with pesticides and chemical fertilizers " in an abusive manner."
Sancha , who is also the winemaker by profession, has argued that organic production wines are the "most natural" and remarked "abuse of pesticides and chemical fertilizers , which have caused a significant salinization Ebro " .
According Sancha , " the wine must not give rise to scandals such " particularly by the need also to give security to the consumer that eats a healthy wine.
This researcher has also expressed caution with the use of transgenic yeasts in improving wine quality and has even described as " unfortunate " implementation.
Sancha should be understood that further research in this field " wisely" and even calls for differentiation in labeling free of genetic engineering that are not products.

(These data are from an interview with EFE ) .

This post should print wine importing companies in UK and worldwide. I would like to know what they think, and what they are doing about it.

Cabernet France , Merlot , Tempranillo and Syrah - The Future

Cabernet France , Merlot , Tempranillo and Syrah

This week I've been busy , despite everything , has given me time to examine closely a great wine from organic cultivation . To start talking about it, I have to mention that it is a very balanced wine, have used a very risky mexcla grapes and has left them perfect . The composition is Cabernet France , Merlot , Tempranillo and Syrah . A approximate percentages 50, 30 , 10 and 10 . A first glance may seem a lot of grapes for a single bottle but it really is a very fortunate mix. I was fortunate to accompany it with rice with partridge and a couple of friends . It is very interesting since we are talking about an ecological winery with an annual production of about 5000 bottles. We are talking about limited editions at bargain prices . the quality is amazing and the price too.
Talking to different people arrived at the conclusion that the wine industry needs change , real change. We are all very tired of seeing the same wines on the shelves of supermarkets and specialty shops , we want something more than just wine , we want new experiences, signature wines , we feel the work of human hands . We are tired of the production chain , every day we are most exquisite , this is the reason that more and more people buy these wines directly to the winery. The solution is that importers meet this sector is more important every day and stop trading with great wineries that make us each day more standards. We will see changes on that line this year , who does not adapt will lose market share, here in London are already worrying about this issue and are starting to move .

The added value and expertise.

The added value and expertise.

Today I was watching an exhibition of art from a private collection rather important . The Wallace Collection . Amazing paintings of VELAZQUEZ, REMBRANDT and CANALETTO . It's great to switch public art with private collections. There should be more private collections that are exposed to the public , promote private museums and private art collections . London is a wonderful place to see art but in these last years have been observed as the number of galleries and specialty shops was decreasing . Last Friday , I read an article in the newspaper , in which the British , they felt to be losing their category of great lords, because in these last years had closed many art galleries and the art market had fallen sharply, in fact , the figures maintained them through foreign investment and tourism. They are trying to reintroduce the culture, art and morals to the middle class and the upper class , who was lately focused more eccentricities than spend on art and culture.

Bankers and famous, new speculators in the wine sector

Many internationally famous footballers , banking families of Jewish origin , etc. . In these last 5 years , everyone has invested in buying a winery or a number of interesting actions. We saw this behavior with the building , and were able to observe how the speculation led to chaos to many companies and many families . As to the issue of the wineries I get the feeling that the same thing will happen , great fortunes buying low-quality vineyards , built a cutting edge building and spend lots of money on advertising and marketing. The funny thing is that each day appears a new "expert" on wines which corroborates the high quality of these wines . All this seems to me a theater , worst of all, big name prestigious wineries are partnering with these gentlemen , these men come from other businesses such as banking, insurance and rating . No that order , but I believe you're missing the craft and thus purity was also lost. However, increasingly we are finding new wineries that use ecological methods , seeking purity of more natural wine , giving priority to the real protagonist here is wine.

Exclusivity is cheaper than the production chain , only have to pay the raw material and the production of artisan production chain has to pay to many executives , many advisers , many marketing costs , representation , trade shows and Rates several upscale wineries ...

Visionaries Ecological Wine and Importers

Visionaries Ecological Wine and Importers

It's easy to admire the quality of a ROLEX watch, It is known worldwide. For me there has not merit, if we talk about geniuses making watches should talk about the people who began to manufacture and sell these watches more than 100 years ago. That same goes for wine and I guess almost everything in life. The next option I'm thinking is going to see APPLE managers and explain the world of ecological wine, I say they are the ones who invest in qualified young, new businesses and have vision for the future. The remaining companies expect to succeed to copy them to other ideas, luck is almost always tend to go late.

Where are the I+D departments? Where are the visionaries? Where are the true entrepreneurs?

Times are changing, ways of doing things are also changing. Back to the origin is not turn back. The time of the big factories already finished, evolution leads to small-scale production of high quality, the craftsmanship, the care for the product. We return slowly to the high quality, the exquisite, the limited.
