Semana intensa llena de kilómetros por autovías, carreteras comarcales, caminos de tierra y demás. Hemos visitados 6 bodegas que teníamos organizado las visitas debido al especial interés de los clientes extranjeros, ya el año pasado se les asesoró en dicha dirección y viendo el resultado obtenido querían involucrarse más para tener más contacto con el producto que están comprando. Es sorprendente como cada año traen menos corbatas en sus equipajes y más botas de montaña para andar por los viñedos. Se nota la evolución de estos señores ya que no se conforman con el simple asesoramiento que les pueda dar el sumiller de cada casa que bien aprendido tiene su carta de vinos.

Tengo que dar las gracias por el trato recibido en mi nombre y en nombre de mis clientes. Es muy grato sentirse tan bien atendido teniendo en cuenta en los momentos tan importantes que están concurriendo y que vengan unos señores de la calle a toquetearlo todo y hacer mil y una preguntas a veces con más sentido y a veces con menos.

Me gustaría resaltar el gran trabajo que están realizando estas bodegas para realizar sus proyectos de vino ecológico, he de trasladarles  el interés que suscitan sus vinos en el mercado internacional y esperan poder adquirir futuros pedidos.

Reflections Road

Intense week full of km motorways, country roads, dirt roads and others. We visited 6 wineries we had organized visits of special interest due to foreign customers, and last year advised them in that direction and seeing the result more involved wanted to have more contact with the product they are buying. It's amazing how each year brings less ties in their luggage and hiking boots to walk through the vineyards. It shows the evolution of these gentlemen as they are not satisfied with the simple advice that I can give each house sommelier well learned has its wine list.

I have you to thank for his treatment on my behalf and on behalf of my clients. It is a pleasure to feel so well attended considering in times that are so important to come concurring and gentlemen of the street and make a thousand touch all, questions and sometimes more and sometimes less sense.

I would like to highlight the great work being done by these wineries for their projects organic wine, I have to pass on the interest generated by their wines on the international market and hope to acquire future orders.

Interés Holandés por el vino español.

 A principios de esta semana he acompañado a unos clientes holandeses a unas sesiones de vendimia, querían contemplar algunos aspectos mientras se realizaban los procesos de recogida de uva, cada vez están más interesados y se muestran más atentos a todos los procesos que conlleva la elaboración del vino. Pudimos observar con respecto a otros años que las plantas tienen algo menos de uvas, según nos comentaba un encargado de la finca estimaba una producción entre un 15% y un 25% menor que la del año pasado lo cual podría repercutir en los precios finales del producto. No obstante la calidad sigue siendo muy alta, en general hemos apreciado un buen estado vegetativo y sanitario, así como una buena evolución de los diferentes parámetros de maduración alcohólica y fenólica de la uva. Los clientes están muy satisfecho con el producto, ahora es tiempo de seguir viendo bodegas y de acuerdos comerciales.  Earlier this week I accompanied a Dutch customers about vintage sessions, wanted to see some aspects while performing the processes of collecting grapes, they are increasingly concerned and are more aware of all the processes involved in the development of wine. We observed with respect to other years that plants have somewhat less of grapes, as we said a manager of the farm production estimated between 15% and 25% lower than last year which could affect final prices of product. But the quality is still very high, overall we have seen a good vegetative state and health, as well as a good performance of the different parameters of alcoholic and phenolic ripening of the grapes. Customers are very satisfied with the product, now it is time to continue watching wineries and trade agreements. Este año varias bodegas han tomado la iniciativa de vendimiar de noche, esta técnica no es nueva ni mucho menos, antaño, en muchas bodegas, cuando la tecnología era precaria y las ganas de poner aditivos no existían se vendimiaba después de la hora de la cena, esta forma de hacer las cosas ha sido rescatada por las nuevas bodegas de vinos ecológicos, estos nuevos bodegueros tratan a las vides con una exquisitez suprema, están muy bien preparados y como no podría ser menos utilizan técnicas muy antiguas que dan muy buenos resultados sin alterar el estado de la uva. De todos es sabido las ventajas de vendimiar de noche, ahorras de 6 a 8 grados con respecto a la recolección de día, evitas riesgos de oxidación, el producto está más fresco, evitas que la piel de la uva estalle con facilidad, la planta tiene menos estrés, la fermentación se hace de forma más controlada protegiendo y potenciando el aroma, así los caldos obtenidos son más suaves y aterciopelados.

Vintage Care

This year several wineries have taken the initiative to pick grapes at night, this technique is not new or anything, once, in many wineries, when technology was poor and the desire to put additives are vintaged not exist after dinner this way of doing things has been rescued by new organic wineries, winemakers treat these new vines with supreme delicacy, are well prepared and how could it be less using ancient techniques that give very good results without alter the state of the grape. Everyone knows the advantages of vintage night, save for 6-8 degrees from the collection day, avoiding risks of oxidation, the product is cooler, avoiding the skin of the grapes explode easily, the plant has less stress, fermentation is done in a more controlled protecting and enhancing the aroma and the wines obtained are soft and velvety.

Predilección por Cabernet ecológica

No hay duda, los datos de exportación lo corroboran, Asia y U.S. demandan caldos procedentes de uvas Cabernet ecológica. 
Aprovechando un almuerzo en Sotogrande con un cliente que trabaja para un importador en Singapur haciamos esa misma reflexión, es la unica vía donde los productores españoles pueden ponerse como los números uno,  A día de hoy no veo a los productores franceses muy por la labor de cambiar sus metodos, la evolución francesa al cultivo ecológico es más lenta. Chile si está dedicando bastante trabajo en esta linea y diversifica producto a un buen paso. La postura de los productores españoles la veo mas lógica y mejor estructurada, veo buena materia prima, buen saber hacer y por ponerle una pequeña pega diría que la forma de venderse o promocionarse son un poco arcaicas (siendo prudente). Estoy probando vinos ecológicos del sur de España y me estoy encontrando vinos espectaculares, y que no han sido comercializados fuera de Europa, es una pena, es incomprensible...

los tiempos cambian, el ser humano afina su cuidado personal para resistir mas tiempo con vida y gozar de mayor calidad, todos sabemos que el futuro del vino y de la alimentacion estará en los productos ecologicos. Antiguamente nosotros contabamos calorias y en el futuro nosotros contaremos toxinas o algo parecido a ello. A dia de hoy en España hay bastantes bodegas que están trabajando muy duro en materia ecologica, evitando aditivos en las cosechas y en la manipulación.
En Asia y en EEUU me están preguntando mucho por los productos ecologicos y les comento siempre lo mismo, cada vez hay mejores vinos, estan obteniendo premios reconocidos internacionalmente y se están realizando muchas exportaciones.
solo necesitan darse mas a conocer y relacionarse con los clientes ya que el producto cuando lo pruebas se vende solo.

times change, man sharpens his personal care to resist alive longer and enjoy better quality, we all know that the future of wine and food will be on organic products. Formerly we counted calories and in the future we will count toxins or something like that. To this day there are many wineries in Spain who are working very hard on ecological, avoiding additives and crop handling.
In Asia and the U.S. are asking me a lot organics products and I tell them the same thing, more and better wines, achieve awards are internationally recognized and are making many exports.
only need to raise their profile and interact with customers as the test product when sold alone.
